Pete was born and raised in Wisconsin and grew up fishing all over the upper Midwest for everything from bluegill to musky. Pete began fly fishing the surf on the California coast while serving in the Navy. During this time, he learned the art of small stream fishing for Golden Trout in the Sierras, the joys of drifting for cutthroat in the glacial fed waters of the northern Rockies, and experienced the tranquility of stripping streamers for walleye and smallmouth in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. After moving back to Wisconsin, Pete returned to the bass and pike waters of his youth. He now guides anglers on Lake Michigan tributaries and numerous inland lakes and creeks that dot southeastern Wisconsin. Pete prides himself on using his canoe and River Rat raft to discover secluded and unpressured waters.
